Back to School - Gabriel is a seven year-old, second grader!

Each year, we officially begin school after Gabriel's birthday. First day August 29th with more excitement coming from me, I think. Here he is as a seven year-old, second grader.

We went to our new homeschool group's first activity: Dunwoody Hive Homeschool's "Not Back-to-School" Cookout Picnic at Lake Lanier. It was a lot of fun to meet other families who chose to uniquely educate their children.

Favorite word -- Actually and he says "suverize" is a favorite word (it's completely made-up)
Favorite saying -- "Super Mario" with an Italian accent while pointing finger into the air
Favorite school subject(s) -- Reading and Science
Favorite movie(s) -- Flushed Away and Charlotte's Web
Favorite thing to do -- Playing with his friends while playing video games on his Nintendo DS (Mario vs. Donkey Kong)
Favorite toys -- An Angry Birds stuffed animal he named Bombs
Activities -- Video games, golf, singing, dancing and making weird, funny noises!
Interests -- Video games, making people laugh, cooking shows, the weather, MythBusters Jamie and Adam and learning science, playing with his sister, Rory McIlroy and much more...

There is a recurring theme here of video games ... he mentioned it 3x!
